Townsend and James win Tow Boat U.S. CBA 2014 Bass Classic

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – Tony Townsend  and Galen James held off the field of 136 anglers on Lake  Chickamauga to win the Tow Boat U.S. CBA Classic Championship held October 25th and 26th at Chester Frost Park.. The winners weighed a 2 day limit of 10 bass weighing 31.85 pounds good for the $10,000 first place money and $7,000 dollars in Triton Gold Bonus money.

Tony and Galen also had big bass of the event a nice 7.65 making their total prize for this event $17,480 dollars.

Chris Gilmore had the second big bass of the tournament with a 5.78 largemouth.

This is the 37th consecutive year of the Chattanooga Bass Association bass tournaments in the Chattanooga and surrounding areas.
