EPB notifying customers of price adjustment on tv bills

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -
EPB Fiber Optics is notifying its customers of a price adjustment on monthly residential television bills that will take effect in January 2015.
The price adjustment will range from an additional $2 to $9. However Internet and phone prices remain the same.
“Because we're committed to providing customers with exceptional value, we have held the line on a television rate increase for 18 months while channel content providers continue to dramatically increase their charges to us,” said Greg Eaves, executive vice president for EPB.
EPB's prices remain unchanged for premium channels, high-definition service, the sports package, additional equipment and repair services.
“We believe our Fi TV service is the best value in Chattanooga. Unfortunately, like all television distributors, EPB cannot absorb these rapidly growing content costs without passing them along,” said Eaves.
