A burger chain could use some cleaning and a tie for the week's high score

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Dining out this weekend?

The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department inspected 30 restaurants this week. According to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon, his team is busy inspecting area schools and also overseeing new swimming pool construction.

I do a have a low score to pass along to you, and it's a 78. Remember a failing grade is anything lower than a 70.

The Hardees in Ooltewah gets a 78. Inspectors found employees not washing their hands, the hand sinks in the kitchen were dirty, the inside of the reach-in cooler also needs a good scrubbing, a can opener was rusty and finally the ceiling and light shields need cleaning..

The high score of the week is a tie at a very impressive 99. Congratulations to Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Gunbarrel Road and Dixie BBQ on Boy Scout Road.

Remember any complaints about a restaurant, hotel or motel, day care or a place you work out, feel free to email me. I send your complaints directly to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon and he assigns your concerns to one of his employees usually that same day. A reminder that we only report on Hamilton County businesses.

Enjoy your meal!
