CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - With the Chattanooga Bass Association 2014 regular season over, the C.B.A. officers are proud to release the final field for the 2014 Tow Boat U.S. Championship. The Classic Championship qualifiers come from the top 100 anglers in points, along with teams who fished at least of 7 of the 9 tournament months of the 2014 season.
This is the 37th consecutive year of the Chattanooga Bass Association bass tournaments in the Chattanooga and surrounding areas.
Notable contenders include this year's Points Champions Rogne Brown, along with 2013 C.B.A. Classic winners Chuck and Brad James. The Tow Boat U.S. Classic Championship will take place October 25th and 26th at Chester Frost Park on Chickamauga Lake.
"We have a strong mix of some of the best anglers in our area and some great up-and-coming teams competing for the $10,000 first place prize," said tournament director Shane Frazier. "We would also like to thank all our sponsors who make this possible, without them the entire format would not be possible."
This year's event  will payout over $55,000.00.  Seventy teams will compete for this cash with each day's weigh-in beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Chester Frost Park Boat Ramp.
