McMinn Co man charged with assault his father-in-law

A McMinn County man turned himself over to police Wednesday after being charged with domestic assault.

Police say 31-year-old William Casey Pittman got into a fight with his father-in-law on September 28th in Old Fort, Tennessee.  

Neighbors called police who say when they arrived Pittman's father-in-law had cuts on his face.  

Wednesday morning, Pittman turned himself in at the Polk County Jail 

Pittman is a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officer and has been placed on administrative leave.
