Murphy woman arrested for breaking and entering and drugs

MURPHY, NC (WRCB) -

A Murphy, NC woman faces a charge of breaking and entering and drug charges.


A part-year resident in the Hanging Dog Community of Cherokee County told Cherokee County deputies that an unknown person had broken into their trailer and was living in it.  A deputy checked out the trailer and confirmed that 50-year-old Kimberly Ivie Craig and an unknown male had been living in the trailer.  Items of paraphernalia were also found that contained methamphetamine. 


Officers located the motel where the two had been staying and found additional paraphernalia and methamphetamine present during a search


Craig was arrested and taken to the Cherokee County Detention Center where she is being held on a $10,000.00 secure bond. 

She is scheduled to appear November 04th, 2014.
