RINGGOLD, GA (WRCB) -

Catoosa County Sheriff's Office deputies seized two pounds of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $30,000, during a traffic stop on Highway 41 in Ringgold Tuesday night.

Arrested were Jesus Humberto Lopez Deanda, 27, and Mitchell L. Mary Cordova, 24.

Both were charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of schedule II narcotics, according to a news release.

Deanda faces additional traffic charges.

Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk says their investigation revealed that they are major distributors of methamphetamine from the metro Atlanta area to the Chattanooga area.

Both are being held in the Catoosa County detention facility without bond.
