UPDATE: Two people were killed in a single car crash on Highway 108 early Sunday morning.

Tennessee Highway Patrol says the Pontiac Grand Am was going north on Highway 108 when the driver went off the road going around a curve.

The car crashed through a fence, and hit a tree before stopping in the field. The car was on fire when emergency crews arrived.

The driver and the passenger were ejected and died on the scene. They have been identified as 33-year-old Glenda White of Palmer and 28-year-old Jeremy Braden of Gruetli Laager.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Officers are investigating a fatal wreck on Hwy 108 near Bear Pen Road in Marion County.

Officials say the crash happened just before 4 o'clock early Sunday morning. The victim's identity has not yet been released. There is no word yet on how many were injured in the crash. Stay with Channel 3 Eyewitness News, we will release more information as it becomes available.
