East Tennessee nonprofits receive $5000 from 150 Days of Giving Campaign

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - Wednesday was all about breaking bread and spreading the wealth for the First Tennessee Bank.  The First Tennessee Foundation gave $5-thousand dollar checks to 13 East Tennessee nonprofit groups.

It was part of the 150 Days of Giving Campaign that kicked off in March for the bank's 150th birthday.

Bank officials say they share the goal of these nonprofits to build healthier, more prosperous communities.

Some of those awarded money went to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, Cleveland State Community College Foundation and Children's Hospital Foundation at Erlanger .
