UPDATE: Woman Killed in Fire on Bramlett Road

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - UPDATE: The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Channel 3 that 48-year-old Lisa L. Campbell died in the Bramlett Road fire.


PREVIOUS STORY: A daughter is mourning the loss of her mother this morning who died in a house fire.

 At 2:10 a.m., a 911 call was received reporting a house fire at 9031 Bramlett Road (Highway 58 area). Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on the scene reporting the house was fully involved and the roof had collapsed into the main floor of the home. 

Firefighters had to conduct a defensive attack to contain the fire from spreading into the woods.

Firefighters were notified on the scene by the daughter that her mother was inside the house. At 4:40 a.m., Highway 58 fire officials and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office confirmed a 48 year old female died in the fire.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
