Soon after her wedding last year, Brittany Maynard, 29, started having debilitating headaches.  Then, while on vacation with her husband in January, Brittany got news she wasn't expecting.  

Brittany was diagnosed with grade II Astrocytoma, a severe brain tumor and was told she had 10 years to live, 

Her cancer progressed to Glioblastoma multiforme, which is the deadliest form of brain cancer with a life expectancy of 14 months even with treatment.

Brittany said when doctors told her death would be slow and painful for her with the growing tumor, she chose a different path.

On November 1, Brittany will end her life using medication prescribed by her doctor.
