Autism: Early Intervention

(WFLA)  In most cases children with autism spectrum disorder are not diagnosed until they are 3 or 4 years old, but new research published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders is showing evidence that early detection and intervention are key.

In fact research suggests that if treatment begins as early as the first six months of life, it can vastly improve a child's outcome and possibly even eliminate symptoms.
