CHATTANOOGA,TN (WRCB)- The McCallie Blue Tornado take the bragging rights of Chattanooga's private school pigskin with them in their 35-9 win over cross river rival Baylor Friday night at McCallie's Spears Stadium.

Right from the start it appeared all McCallie before kickoff, a sell out crwod of rabid fans, plus an eye in the sky with a drone flying over the field. Not to mention a visit from UTC Head Football Coach Russ Huesman, spotted on the Blue Tornado sideline for much of the evening.

But Baylor would dent the scoreboard first winning the battle of early field position, with Red Raiders placekicker Colin Brewer nailing a 39 yard field goal, for Baylor's only lead of the game.

From then on, it was all McCallie, much of it fueled by the running exploits of Alex Trotter and Javaughn Craig. The Blue Tornado would respond with 35 points until the fourth quarter when Nick Tiano finally hit pay dirt with a touchdown pass. Baylor would fumble the extra point attempt as it ends 35-9 McCallie.

Blue Tornado QB Javaughn Craig earned WRCB's Player of the Game honors, engineering the McCallie offense and also throwing a touchdown pass.

The win puts McCallie at 7-0.
