CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - Channel 3 continues to shine the spotlight on IronMan competitor Jason Greer, a Chattanooga firefighters who's not competing for himself, but for his son, who is battling brain cancer.

Greer has been preparing for the IronMan for the past year, dropping 60 pounds in the process.

His 18-year-old son, Tristin, has been battling Stage 4 Neuroblastoma for more than four years.

We caught up with Tristin earlier Sunday and he says he's real proud of how far his dad has come.

Greer is racing to support his son and to raise money for 'Emily's Power for a Cure' and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

So far he's raised more than $20,000.
