UPDATE: 'Empty threat' forces multiple school lockdowns

UPDATE: The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says that the initial threat, made in an anonymous phone call, was an 'empty threat.'

In the phone call, a man made threats against his family, neighbors and the police.

The Sheriff's Office tells Channel 3  that they've located all family mentioned in the threat and they are safe.

UPDATE: After Soddy Daisy High School was locked down as a precautionary measure, students are being released.

PREVIOUS STORY: Parents of Soddy Daisy High School students have been told that the school is in a precautionary lock down due to a possible threat in a subdivision in the school zone. 

We've also learned at McConnell Elementary School and Allen Elem were locked down as well; again as a precautionary measure.

Students are with their teachers in their classrooms.

Doors are locked and will remain so until this situation has been cleared by local police.

Police are at Port Royal neighboorhood in Lakesite investigatiiong the incident.
