Report: Ex-girlfriend says Paulk hit her multiple times
KNOXVILLE (WBIR) -
A former Tennessee football player's ex-girlfriend, who claims the freshman running back punched her in the mouth, told police this recent attack wasn't the first.
The 18-year-old woman said Treyvon Paulk, 19, apparently hit her multiple times during their relationship that lasted more than seven years, according to a University of Tennessee police report. She told officers the first time he assaulted her was in high school.
On Monday, Coach Butch Jones announced his staff kicked Paulk off the team, following the latest incident on Sunday night.
The ex-girlfriend said she and Paulk got into an argument during a party at Quarry Trail Apartments on Highland Crest Way. According to the police report, Paulk apparently punched his former girlfriend in the face. The 18-year-old claimed Paulk's fellow teammate, linebacker Elliot Berry, had to pull him away from her.
