Good Tuesday. Fall couldn't have come in with more of an exclamation point. A cool front brought in much cooler and drier air, just as the season began last night. Temperatures this morning are running about 5 to 8 degrees below where they were yesterday.
High pressure to our north will continue to bring in light winds from the northeast. That is a cool, dry flow of air that will keep the sunny, cool weather with us for a couple of days. Today, look for a high of 80, which is the average for this time of year.
This will be a perfect evening for a post dinner stroll around the neighborhood as temps drop into the 60s. During the overnight, we will cool back into the mid 50s.
The rest of the week will be nice with plenty of sunshine and low humidity each day. We will, however, see it warming a bit. Highs will gradually climb into the mid 80s by Thursday, and stay there through the weekend. Lows will slowly warm into the low 60s through the week.
The weekend still looks good for most outdoor activities. Highs will be in the mid 80s, and it should stay dry save a chance for a few passing showers Sunday afternoon into Monday.
