Chili's guests help St. Jude kids simply by eating out
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -
Guests at Chili's restaurants can help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital tackle childhood cancer simply by eating out today.
All Chili's locations will donate profits from today's sales to the hospital.
'Donate Profits Day' commemorates the final day of Chili's two-week long campaign to raise money for the world-renowned pediatric research hospital during the month of September, which is recognized as National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
In 2006, Chili's pledged to raise $50 million in 10 years, the hospital's largest single partner donation. To date, Chili's has raised more than $51 million, surpassing the original goal two year early.
Channel 3 is a proud to partner with St. Jude and its mission to treat and find cures for catastrophic childhood diseases. Each year, we sponsor the St. Jude Dream Home campaign. The 2015 Dream Home will be given away in June. Tickets will go on sale in the spring.
