Good Monday. Fall officially begins tonight at 10:29 eastern. We will have very appropriate weather as we transition into the new season.
A cold front that brought the rain showers and thunderstorms yesterday will now bring us a nice shot of cooler air. Highs this afternoon will only reach about 79 degrees. Humidity levels are also very low behind the front. Dew points are in the low 50s. That means it will be very comfortable through the day. It may get a little breezy later today as winds behind the front blow at about 10-15 mph from the northeast.
Tonight, the cool air will continue to filter in. Our low will drop into the low 50s. In some of the mountainous areas, it will get into the mid to upper 40s!
Tuesday afternoon will see another gorgeous day. Sunny and 80 degrees.
The rest of the week will see a little warming, but it will still be nice. Highs will reach 84 by Friday and Saturday, and lows will climb back into the low 60s by the end of the week.
Some moisture will bubble up from the gulf on Sunday, and will bring scattered showers Sunday afternoon into Monday.
