Mocs Huesman wants more offense

CHATTANOOGA,TN (WRCB)--The UTC Football Mocs were back on the practice field Sunday after enjoying their scheduled bye week.
Mocs Head Coach Russ Huesman giving the troops a well deserved day off Saturday, but the team was back to work this afternoon at Chattanooga's Scrappy Moore Field.
The Mocs are coming off their first win last weekend against Austin Peay to make them 1-2 on the young season.
Huesman says he's pleased with his team's defense, but wants to see more offense Saturday against Samford.
" We got to figure out ways offensively to get space to give Keon some running room to give Jacob some running room you know, if they're going to load the box, the ability to throw the ball," said Huesman Sunday.
The Mocs kick off Saturday night at 7pm against the Bulldogs, a team Huesman says in some ways resembles the Mocs.
Samford comes to Finley Stadium with a 2-1 mark, beating VMI 63-21 Saturday in their Southern Conference opener.
