CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -
Good Friday! We will see a warm up this weekend, some showers and storms Sunday evening, then we cool back down heading into the first week of fall.
Let's start with this afternoon The high will reach 85, and humidity will remain fairly low so expect it to be a comfortable end to the week. We will have some clouds mixed with sun, and I can't rule out a stray shower or two south and east of Chattanooga this afternoon. The rain chance is low, though... less than 20%.
A front will begin to develop to our west Saturday. Ahead of that front, southerly winds will help us climb to 86 on Saturday, though we will still have sunny skies, and the humidity will not be bad.
The temperature will climb even further Sunday, getting up to 88 for a high. During the afternoon we can expect scattered showers and thunderstorms as the front moves through. By Sunday night, skies will clear out and cooler weather will settle in.
Monday will be sunny and cooler with a high of 82. Fall officially begins Monday night at about 10:30. Our first week of fall will be nice. I expect mostly sunny skies each day with highs in the low 80s, and lows in the upper 50s.
