KNOXVILLE, TN (Knox News) - Authorities on Wednesday were searching for a seriously burned man injured as he fled from an East Knoxville home after stabbing the resident.

Christopher Kalna, 55, was stabbed about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at his 2411 Wilson Ave. home, according to Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk.

Kalna was rushed to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with wounds to an arm and his torso, DeBusk said. Authorities declined to identify the weapon used in the attack because of the ongoing probe.

Kalna and the unidentified man got into an argument in the home, resulting in the stabbing, before the assailant fled. There were no other people in the home.
