A Soddy Daisy boy has been selected to appear on New York's Broadway as part of the National Down Syndrome Society's annual Times Square Video presentation.

Davis Reeves, who has Down syndrome, was selected from over 2,000 entries in the NDSS worldwide call for photos. Over 220 photographs will appear in the video, which will be shown in the heart of Times Square. Davis is pictured with his baby brother Thomas.

“I was filled with pride and joy to discover that a picture of my babies was selected to represent the NDSS values of inclusion and acceptance and to be shared worldwide from Times Square,” Davis's mom Kari Reeve said in a news release.

“As parents, we all strive for our kids to be happy and accepted by others, whether our children have Down syndrome, have other diagnoses, or are typically developing. We are in this together to create a better present and a better future for our children. I am happy to be a part of this movement and to show the world these happy and adorable brothers,” Reeves said.

The Times Square Video presentation kicks off October's Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

The video presentation will be followed by the 20th Annual Flagship Buddy Walk in New York City.

Buddy Walk events will be held in more than 250 cities across the country in October.
