Preliminary hearing for bike club members involved in shootout postponed

MCMINN COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -  A preliminary hearing for several bike club members involved in a shootout over the summer has been postponed. 

The five men are charged with attempted first-degree murder.

The men, who are members of the Heathens/Nomad Motorcycle Club are accused of shooting a member of a different club following an altercation at Applebee's back in July. 

According to the Daily Post Athenian, the hearing was originally scheduled to begin Friday in McMinn County, but was postponed after the victim of the shooting and several witnesses failed to show up for a hearing. 

A new date has been set for November 12th.

    According to Chattanooga Police, one person has been hurt in a shooting late Monday night. It happened just before 11 p.m. on Ryan Street.
