The Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office is looking for Jennifer Renee Cooley, who escaped from police custody September 7.

Cooley was in the custody of the Johnson City Police Department on an inmate work detail when she and two other females escaped custody, according to a news release from the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office.

The two other females have since been captured, but Cooley remains at large.

The Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office  is now joining the search.

Cooley's last known address is in Dunlap.

She was first arrested by the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office on charges of Theft of Property and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

"We feel that she might have been here at one time, but at this time she's probably left the area," said Chief Deputy Randall Lockhart, Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office, "And she is on the Tennessee Department of Correction's escaped status."

Chief Deputy Lockhart said he has no doubt Cooley will eventually be found by police and will face additional charges of escape with the Johnson City Police Department.

Cooley is a 32 year old white female, 5'4”, 125 pounds, blonde hair, blue eyes. Police say she has an identifying tattoo on her neck.

Anyone with information about Cooley's whereabouts can contact Johnson City Police at (423) 434-6126, or the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office at (423) 949-7750.
