Good Tuesday. We will feel the heat and humidity ramping up a little for a couple of days, but it is all setting the stage for a very nice weekend.
Today will be similar to yesterday. Look for highs in the upper 80s. It will be a little humid during the heat of the day, but overall it should be a nice day. One or two storms may pop up late in the day, but most of us will miss the rainfall.
Wednesday, the chance of rain will stay low, but the heat and humidity will be rising. The high in Chattanooga will climb to the low 90s.
This, warm, humid air will be moving in ahead of a front that will pass through Thursday, bringing more widespread showers and storms to the area Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. The high Thursday will still manage to climb to about 90.
Friday, look for some isolated showers and storms for the first half of the day, then we will begin to clear out and cool down. The high Friday will stay at about 85.
Cooler air will trickle in behind the front. For the weekend, we will have a mix of sun and clouds with highs near 80 both Saturday and Sunday. Lows over the weekend will drop into the low 60s.
The same nice, cool weather will last into the first part of next week.
