Chattanooga Market hosts Run of Honor for public servants

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -  Local runners joined forces with the Chattanooga Market and the Rock City Lodge #22 Fraternal Order of Police to honor public servants.

They gathered to raise funds for two deserving causes: The Tim Chapin Scholarship Fund and The Fort Campbell Fisher House.

Around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning the runners took to the streets for the Inaugural Run of Honor, on Chattanooga's only 8K USATF certified course.

Starting in front of the Chattanooga Market and encircling the National Cemetery along historic Main Street, they ended up on the 50 yard line at Finley Stadium.

The Chattanooga Track Club timed each runner as they crossed the finish line.

All of the money raised will be given to both charities.
