Good Thursday afternoon.  Ordinarily, about 1/2" of rain would be no big deal, but when you have seen up to 6" in the past 2 days, any amount is going to complicate things.

That's what we can expect today.  A stationary front will hover just to our south, providing instability that will combine with highs in the upper 80s this afternoon to produce scattered thunderstorms.  The biggest threats, once again, will be from heavy rain and lightning.

I expect much of the same Friday.  Saturday, a cold front will push through, keeping the chance for storms in through the day as the high reaches about 91.

Sunday should be a pretty nice day.  Behind the front we will dry out a bit, and skies will be mostly sunny.  It will also be a few degrees cooler with the high staying in the mid 80s.
