Monday night 30 teens got out of the Woodland Hills Development Center near Nashville.

Most of the offenders were re-captured overnight, but eight are still on the loose.

The mass escape happened after a shift change, around 10:30 Monday night, when a weakness was found in a window.

Officers have been searching by ground and air.

The youngest escapee is 14 -- the oldest 17.

Officials say they have several issues to consider as they search for the teens.

Officials say all these teens have at least three felony convictions and they should be considered dangerous.

DCS says no staff members were seriously injured and the fence where the escape occurred has been fixed.
