Hot and sunny today, some storms Saturday
Good Friday! The heat and humidity will be in force this afternoon. Skies will remain sunny, but the high will reach 94 degrees, and the humidity will be slowly rising as well. Even this evening, as the high school football games get underway, temps will be in the mid 80s as the games get underway.
Saturday we will start with lows in the upper 60s. Through the day, it will be hot and muggy with highs in the low 90s. Dew point values will be in the low 70s, so it will not be comfortable at all Saturday afternoon. An approaching front will also spark a number of showers and thunderstorms late Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.
For Sunday, the slow moving front will still bring a chance for on and off storms through the day. The high Sunday might get up to 90.
For Labor Day, you may see an isolated shower or two through the day, but the rain chance will be lowering, especially late in the day. I am putting the chance for showers and storms at 30%.
