Parts of Hwy 27 North to experience lane closures overnight Thursday

HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -  If you're traveling Hwy 27 Thursday night, take note.  Beginning at 7:00 p.m. Hwy 27 NORTH will be down to one lane from the Olgiati Bridge to Manning Street Bridge for traffic realignment. 

Also at that same time, demolition work will be done on the overhang forms on the new Hwy 27 NORTH ramp bridge over Dayton Blvd.  Dayton Blvd will be CLOSED to traffic coming FROM Red Bank.  Traffic traveling TO Red Bank on Dayton Blvd. from Stringers Ridge tunnel to Signal Mtn Road will be down to one lane with delays. 

In observance of the Labor Day holiday period, TDOT crews and contractors will stop all road construction work that requires lane closures on interstates and state highways beginning at noon on Friday, August 29, 2014 through Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 6AM.
