A three-way tie for this week's low score

Dining out this weekend?

The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department are reporting no failing grades this week. There is a three-way tie for the lowest score of an 83.

According to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon he reminds us that a failing grade is anything lower than a 70.

Inspectors found the Sonic on Ringgold Road has a really bad roach problem in the food prep area. The ceiling, walls and cutting boards need a lot of attention

Also scoring an 83 is the Dockside Café in Harrison. BBQ pork and chicken were not at the right temperature of 135 degrees. There were spoiled vegetables and the clean dishes were thrown into a bin that was dirty.

And the third low score of 83 went to the Countryside Café in Ooltewah. Inspectors found cooks not washing their hands, raw meat was being stored in the wrong place, coleslaw and potato salad also at the wrong temperature and their floors need a good cleaning.

The high score of the week is a very impressive 99. If you like Mexican cuisine give them a chance at Delia's Mexican Food in Soddy Daisy. The customers are saying gracias to those employees

Remember any complaints about a restaurant, hotel or motel, day care or a place your work out, feel free to email me.

I send your complaints directly to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon and he assigns your concerns to one of his employees usually that same day.

Enjoy your meal!
