DALTON, GA (WRCB) - The Dalton Police Department needs help finding a suspect who used a stolen debit card to rack up nearly $450 in fraudulent purchases.

The victim told police she lost her bank card at the Walnut Express gas station at 2524 East Walnut Avenue and found the fraudulent purchases after she realized the card was missing.

Investigators tell Channel 3 that the stolen card was used twice at the Kangaroo Express on Walnut Avenue, the O’Charley’s and Red Lobster restaurants on Walnut Avenue for purchases totaling $446.17.

Investigators recovered surveillance video from the Kangaroo Express service station that showed a white male wearing a white tank top t-shirt using the card.  He was with another male in a black shirt.

On one occasion he arrived in a silver passenger car and on another he arrived in a white Toyota 4-Runner.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect is asked to contact Detective Brian Shirley at 706-278-9085, extension 189.
