A Walker County woman is being held on murder charges in the death of her boyfriend.
Saturday afternoon, 50-year-old Patricia Ann Harrison of Rossville, stabbed her 63-year-old William Drymon in the chest with a steak knife.
When Walker County Sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene they found the victim lying inside the front door bleeding from the stab wound.
Drymon, was taken to the hospital where he died.
Walker County Sheriff Wilson says Harrison was heavily intoxicated and it appears alcohol was a contributing factor in the stabbing.
Harrison is charged with murder and domestic assault.
A vehicle was traveling west on Hamill Road and had stopped at the railroad crossing. The gates were extended with flashing lights and sounding bell.
