Frazier and Frazier Win Island Cove Outdoor Center C.B.A. Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The father and son team of Randy and Shane Frazier cooled off the field of 51 boats catching a 5 bass limit weighing 24.08 pounds to win first place and $2,000.00 in the Island Cove Outdoor Center Open CBA, August  day  Bass Tournament. This tournament was held Saturday, August 9th out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp. 

Shane said “We only caught 6 keepers all day. The last one we caught was around 11:00 a.m. but it was a huge 9.47 large mouth. This was our first win ever on this tournament trail making it a very special day for me and my dad”.

Shane and Randy also won the Denali big fish of the tournament with a super giant large mouth that weighed 9.47 pounds, good for 2 Denali rods and $100.00.

Second big bass of the tournament was a nice 7.25 largemouth that was caught by Tommy Cates and Rob Moore, good for $100.00.

Mike and Alex Walker won the highest finisher in the youth division.

The next C.B.A. night event will be August 23rd out of Chester Frost Park.

2. Brandon Roop and Brent Tharpe - $700.00 - 23.97 lbs.
3. Anthony Correll and Logan Kokozska - $550.00 - 21.60 lbs.
4. David Crider and Joel Crider - $450.00 - 20.77lbs.
5. Nick Pratt and Chris Coffey - $350.00 – 20.06 lbs
6. Daniel Morgan and Greg Shaver - $300.00 - 19.32lbs
7.  Mark Varady and Mark Keith - $250.00 - 19.26 lbs
8. Jamie Copenhaven and Adam Dysart - $200.00 - 18.86 lbs
9. Jason Rampey and Michael Headrick - $150.00 - 18.42 lbs
