HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - A man was struck by a Hamilton County Parks and Recreation truck Friday morning.

It happened about 11:00 on 23rd Street at 4th Avenue.
The victim, Gary Waldren said he was clipped by the mirror of a Parks and Rec truck.
He declined medical treatment, saying he was only scratched.

There was another recent incident involving a local Parks and Rec driver.
Hamilton County is paying a man who was hit by a county worker.
Commissioners voted in mid-July to pay Brandon Carter $20-thousand dollars.
Carter was driving on Adams Road last year when his car collided with a County Parks and Recreation vehicle.
The settlement, which the county is paying out of its self-insurance program, will reportedly go toward paying for Cwrcarter's injuries.
