Dining out this weekend?

The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department inspected 17 restaurants this week. According to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon, his team is still busy inspecting area pools this time of year.

This week, we have a low score to pass along to you, and it's a 72 for the Hardee's on Ringgold Road. Remember a failing grade is anything lower than a 70.

Inspectors found chicken tenders that were out of temperature, utensils were being washed in dirty water, clean dishes were being stored in dirty holding bins and the soda machine needs a good cleaning.

The high score of the week is a Subway and this one can be found on Frazier Avenue. They score a very impressive 98.

Remember, any complaints about a restaurant, hotel or motel, day care or a place you work out, call the Hamilton County Health Department Hotline at (423) 209-8110 or feel free to
and I'll pass your comments to the Health Department.

Enjoy your meal!
