Paula Deen in East Tenn. for opening of new store

(WBIR) - Celebrity chef Paul Deen will be in East Tennessee this weekend for the opening of her new retail store.

Paula will greet fans at her store in Gatlinburg starting at 1 p.m. She'll also give away tickets to her Paula Deen Live! shows in Pigeon Forge Saturday and Sunday.

The Paul Deen Store features kitchenware from the celebrity chef, souvenirs, food products, magazines and books. The store is located in downtown Gatlinburg, which is about 10 miles from her new restaurant in Pigeon Forge.

During the meet and greet, Paula will also make a $10,000 donation to the Boys and Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains on behalf of her charity, The Bag Lady Foundation, and the Island in Pigeon Forge.
