Murphy man sentenced to prison for meth lab found on campsite

CHEROKEE COUNTY, NC (WRCB) - A 29 year old Murphy North Carolina man is facing jail time for manufacturing methamphetamine

Cherokee County Sheriff’s investigators executed a search warrant on West Hollow St. in Murphy North Carolina. During the course of the search several “One Pot Meth Labs” or “Shake and Bake Meth Labs” were discovered at a campsite along with material that was would normally be used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.   During the investigation information was discovered that David Corso was actively making methamphetamine at the West Hollow St. address and was injured from some type of chemical explosion.

Corso was sentenced to 129 months in jail.
