UPDATE: Mysterious vapor closes roads in Dayton

Posted: Updated:
DAYTON, TN (WRCB) - The Rhea County sheriff’s department confirms they are working a chemical spill at Fujifilm Hunt Chemicals USA in Dayton.
The call came in at 6 a.m. at the plant on Manufacturers Road. That road is currently closed. Officials say some kind of vapor escaped in the plant, prompting their emergency protocol.
Sheriff’s deputies, Dayton Police and Dayton Fire responded the scene.

The fire department tells Channel 3 there are no injuries.

It's not yet known what the vapor was.

In 2011, more than 20 people had to evacuate the plant when 900 gallons of a highly-flammable film development additive spilled. A built-in reservoir helped contain that spill to one part of the plant.
