Graysville, TN (WRCB) -

Five Graysville city officials met Monday night in an emergency called meeting to vote on an interim police chief.  Lt. Brian Crowe, who had previously filled the position and Patrolman Rick Anderson were the two nominees.  Both candidates received 2 votes in favor and 3 votes against putting them in the position.

Per the Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission the official in charge must be P.O.S.T. certified.

Mayor Ted Doss says he now must contact P.O.S.T. to see what to do next.
