Good Wednesday. Hopefully you were able to dodge the numerous trees that fell over yesterday and enjoy the storms as they rolled through.
While I don't see the same line of severe storms in the forecast today, we will see spotty, on and off showers throughout the day. We could get an additional .50" widespread with more than an inch in isolated spots. Heavy rain will be the biggest issue. No severe storms are expected. Because of the clouds and rain, the afternoon high will only reach the upper 70s.
Tonight, Boston takes the Coke Stage for Riverbend at 9:30. that will be the time showers and storms are tapering off, but I can't promise you won't have a leftover shower or two, so be prepared.
Thursday, we will be in between weather systems so the rain chance will be low, only 30% for the afternoon hours. The high Thursday will reach 83 degrees.
Friday, another front will press through, and bring more widespread showers and storms to the area. I am lifting the chance for showers and storms to 60%. The high Friday will be in the low 80s.
Expect a few scattered showers and storms over the weekend as well with highs back in the mid 80s.
Drier air will move in next week. By Tuesday and Wednesday, highs will reach the low 90s under partly cloudy skies.
