Good Tuesday. There is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for much of our area for the late afternoon and evening hours..
An approaching front will push through some strong storms capable of producing heavy rain, gusty winds and small hail during the drive time hours this afternoon. The risk of tornadoes is low, but I can't promise one or two won't pop up, so we will be very watchful this afternoon.
The storms will taper off after about 7pm, but still carry the umbrellas to Riverbend. We will still potentially see some scattered showers and storms through the night and into Wednesday.
After this front moves through, the rain chances will be going down Thursday through the weekend. Each day, however, there will at least be a slight chance for afternoon storms with muggy highs in the upper 80s.
