McCullough and McClanahan Win the June C.B.A. Hunter Oil Open Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of  Derek  McCullough  and Jim McClanahan caught a 5 bass limit weighing 24.56  pounds to win first place and $2,000.00 in the Hunter Oil, CBA June open bass tournament on Saturday, June 7th out of Chester Frost Park on Chickamauga Lake.

The duo also  won the  big fish of the tournament with a super giant largemouth that weighed 8.98  pounds.

The winners reported most of their fish came off worms but a couple came off jigs, shakey heads, and one on a spook fishing grass edges next to deeper water.


Second big fish of the tournament was caught by Jason Smith and Nathan Smith a nice 8.56 largemouth.

The highest finishing team in the youth division was Allen Lewis and Josh Reed

The highest finishing new team went to Jimmy Reynolds and Blake McCelhaney
