Humid, rain chances low until midweek

Posted: Updated:
(WRCB) - Good Sunday.  A front passing through brought showers and a few storms last night into this morning.  We may see a few more through the early afternoon of your Sunday, then we will begin to clear out, and it may become a bit breezy this afternoon.  The heat and humidity will still be with us as we soar to about 90 degrees. For Riverbend tonight, I don't expect any rainfall as Buddy Guy takes the stage.  We should have partly cloudy skies at 9:30 over the Coke Stage with temps around 80.

For next week, we will start with warm and muggy weather.  Highs Monday and Tuesday will reach the upper 80s with heat indices in the mid 90s.  The chance for showers and storms will be low, ranging from 20% to 30%.

Another front will move through Wednesday, upping our rain chances to about 60% for the second half of the week.
