Morning storms, then isolated storms and humid this afternoon

Posted: Updated:
Good Thursday.  There is a good likelihood many of us will see some thunderstorms through the morning hours.  The biggest threat from these storms will be abundant lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds.  We may see some isolated areas of hail.  I do not expect any tornadoes, but will keep a watchful eye.

This afternoon, the front passing through will drift southward and become stationary just to our south.  We may still see one or two isolated storms this afternoon, but the bulk of the activity looks like it will be this morning.  This afternoon will be VERY humid with highs in the upper 80s.

Overnight into early Friday morning we will see a few more good storms moving through, but the chance of rain through Friday will only be for an isolated storm here and there.

The rain chance increases a bit this weekend.  Saturday, we will have a few storms developing in the afternoon, and Sunday I think they will a bit more widespread as another area of low pressure pushes through.  Both days of the weekend it will be warm and humid with highs near 90.
