Good Wednesday.  Our overall weather pattern is one that will keep hot, muggy weather in the forecast for the foreseeable future.  Included  with that will be varying chances of showers and storms each day.

For today, it's all about the heat and humidity.  Highs will reach about 90, and with dew point values in the upper 60s the heat index (or "feels like" temperature) will reach the mid 90s.  I don't expect any widespread storms today, but one or two could sneak through.

A front draping into Tennessee from the north could spark a few overnight showers tonight into Thursday morning.  Some strong storms could even move in during the late morning hours, but the best chance for any severe weather with this front will be to our north in Middle Tennessee late tonight.

The high Thursday will reach a balmy 87, and the chance for rain will actually decrease late in the day after the front moves through.

Friday will be another day of heat and humidity.  The high will reach about 88, and the rain chance will be small.  I only expect one or two storms developing Friday afternoon.

For the weekend, the chance for showers and storms increases.  Highs both days will be near 90, and I expect more widespread showers and storms as we move through the afternoon and evening hours.
