Posted: Updated:
MCMINN COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - A McMinn County man is facing charges of aggravated burglary and kidnapping, after being accused of breaking into a woman's apartment and threatening her if she told police.

Athens Police say they were called to Starr Regional Medical Center, about a woman who was claiming she had been kidnapped and assaulted. Police say a man was causing a disturbance in the emergency room trying to get to her.

The victim claims 32-year old Graylon Ervin broke into the apartment she was staying, forced her into his Jeep, and held her against her will, on two separate occasions, over the weekend.

The woman was able to call police at the hospital.  Ervin was booked in the McMinn County Jail, and released on 20-thousand dollars bond.
