DALTON, GA (WRCB) - Dalton Police are looking for the owner of a camouflaged "Fieldline" fanny pack containing numerous turkey calls.

It was discovered while Dalton Police  was assisting Varnell Police with an investigation into an entering auto case.

The incident happened toward the end of May on West Parliament Drive in Varnell when two women's purses and other items were taken from a car.  The victim discovered her stolen purses for sale online at a site called "Another New Teens Project".  The victim set up a meeting at a stor on West Walnut Avenue in Dalton.  Dalton Police was asked to assist.

Dalton investigators found the victim with Wendi Nicole Clarkson and Timothy Ryan Clarkson trying to sell the victim, her own stolen property.  Chief Grant found a wallet matching one of the stolen purses on the back seat of the Clarksons’ vehicle. Officials asked for permission to search the Clarksons’ vehicle, but were refused. Dalton investigators then impounded the vehicle while they waited for  a search warrant for the vehicle. That warrant was executed and investigators found more stolen property belonging to the victim which they returned. Detectives also found methamphetamine and drug related objects in the vehicle.

On May 29th, Wendi Nicole Clarkson and Timothy Ryan Clarkson were arrested and charged with theft be receiving stolen property, possession of drug related objects, and possession of methamphetamine.

The “Fieldline” fanny pack with the turkey calls was found inside of a backpack belonging to the victim, but does not belong to the victim.  If you believe that this is your property, please contact Detective John Helton at 706-278-9085, extension 143.
