Widespread Panic
will be performing at the Riverbend Festival 2014 on Saturday, June 7.

Forming in 1986 in Athens, GA, Widespread Panic signed a record deal in 1987 with Landslide Records.  The band recorded their first album titled "Space Wrangler" that included songs such as Chilly Water, Coconut and the Driving Song.

The band received gold certification for their concert DVD, Live at Oak Mountain in 2002. In the same year their guitarist Michael  Houser was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died in August 10, 2002.

The following year in 2003 George McConnell joined  the band and took over for lead guitarist. In 2006 the band released the ninth studio album titled, "Earth to America" that included songs such as Times Zones, Solid Rock and
